I've never seen that gold button before -- it must have been intended to replace the pocket flap button on a uniform, political or military.

Was this gold button at the MAX show? I believe there were a number of high end political items on show and for sale including a number of 25 Year NSDAP medals, Blut Ordens and Sepp Dietrich items. I was told that there were at least two Coburg badges but I never saw the first pattern one- maybe it had changed hands quietly before I got there, the second pattern one seemed reasonably priced due to condition and was one of the RZM marked at 7 o'clock type....(photo's from the MAX show thread),

      Cheers,
      Michael

        Thank you, Michael.

Any chance of close up pics of the Coburg Badge, or did you find any other Coburg related items? These are rare...

I have a question about the plate of Coburg 1937.

Could you buy these plates or were they lent?
These plates have a number on the back. Is it the manufacturer's model or is it an ongoing number of plates awarded?
I have a plate with the number 8772. What numbers do other plates have ?

Thank you very much for your help.

It's thought that they were given to those who attended the anniversary and were badge holders but this is just a theory.

                    Hi Martin,

This display is QUITE impressive! Never seen it before. Does it show the NSDAP Membership Number of each individual, together with the person's name? If it does, I'd LOVE to have a copy of this piece!!

Thanks so much for sharing this,

                    Br. James

But does this chart also provide the NSDAP Membership Number of each person -- and we understand that the NSDAP Membership Number is the number found on the reverse of the person's GPB.
