Hi Larry, I am impressed with the way you have varied the Feldgrau shade on different men's tunics. A very nice touch.

              Cheers, Ade.

Dan: I haven't coloured any HG photos yet.

i love how you did the yellow piping on the cap and the well balanced colour on the map they are reading, its always the little details thats compliment a job like this.
The only thing that i might do is, increase the saturation of the image by about 10 percent, drop down the lighting 5 percent, and sharpen once (using photoshop)
                          Hope this little advice helps.
                          Great work Larry !

                            Hi Tim

Thankyou. I have many more photos to colourize.

                            Hi Ian,

Thankyou for the tips. I am still learning the art of colouring photos and your input is apreciated. I made the subtle changes as suggested to my photo and it definitely looks better.

                            Cheers

Hi Mike, It takes me a few days to colour a photo. It all depends on how much spare time I have. I started from scratch over a year and a half ago. Taught myself the basics, experimented a lot and made a lot of mistakes. Still learning and getting good tips from other forum members. Cheers, Larry
