Some very nice work coming out here, One slightly different theme, taken from the Bundesarchiv, The Neue Reichkanzlai Berlin (B/W) shot at night, I thought i'd have a go at imagining what it may have looked like.

      regards

        Larrister,
Many thanks for your email and kind remarks. I have followed your posts closely and I am excited for my new hobby. I still need to learn a lot to get better. Here is my second try.

          Hi Ardire

Thanks. You have got it nearly perfect. One small suggestion is to add a little more red to the flesh tones.

I hope you don't mind but I added red to the faces and hands to show you what I mean.

          Keep up the good work.

          Cheers
          Larry

Ah yes...I see what you mean Larry. Many thanks! I am currently working on an Italian machinegun unit in Ethiopia. When I am finished I will post it here. I will use your suggestions.
                Best to you, Arditi

                  Hi

Here's the final version of the portrait in #323.

Flesh tones have been enhanced to look more realistic.

                  Cheers

                          Colourisation request!

                          Hi there everyone,
I am quite new indeed to this forum but I stumbled upon this thread yesterday and killed a good two hours browsing it in it's entirety and pouring over the excellent work on these pictures!

Larry especially your work has come on impressively over the course of this thread! Your vehicles are amazing, I'd really think that some of the pictures produced here were colour originals if I didn't know better!

I have a special request, would anyone be happy to help me out and colourise one or both of the following pictures of Heydrich? I am putting together a Heydrich grouping as an ongoing (and expensive!) project and I'd so very much appreciate a colourised picture of him to go with it. :-)

I have posted the pics below along with my replica of his ribbon bar if anyone wanted that for ref.

Thank you so much in advance,

                          Simon

Sorry, I don't know what grades of his sport and rider's badges he held. I can change them if you can tell me the grades.
