        Nsu 251 Osl

Here 2 pics from my collection. Two NSU 251-OSL bikes, in Africa with DAK troops and another in Russia, dated on the back 1942...
I just noticed that the 2nd picture is also in the Larrister collection? (exact same image already posted in post# 105...)
So multiple copies of the same image are floating around? I purchased the original picture from E-bay and it has a date + a name penciled on the back (1942) of the image...

#96 reminds me of the bunker complex at Hohenfels Combat Maneuver Training Center [CMTC] I wonder if it's the same place?

The motorcycle combination looks to be a Belgian FN. An M12A SM I think - presumably one that they picked up on the way through.

                        Belgian Sidecar Outfits

This small image was an eBay purchase that I had hoped to enlarge for more detail but the seller had taken it about as big as it would go.

The picture also appears in François de Lannoy's "Dunkerque 1940" so I assume that it was one of those souvenir images that was widely distributed. I think that it shows De (La) Panne.

In so far as I can tell, foreground machine is a French René Gillet V-twin followed by a Belgian Gillet as supplied to the French Army with Bernadet sidecar. The bike upside down is a Norton and I had hoped to be able to read the census number but can't.

                          Wehrmacht biker

Hi this is my first biker photo. Can someone tell me the type of bike? Also, are those unit markings on the front bumper? If so what unit is he with. There was writing on the back of the image that I'll post as well. Perhaps it says where the shot was taken.

                              Stug III,

I believe your bike is an BMW R-35.
