Here's a photo from one of my photo albums, a Kradmelder in 2./s.Pz.Abt.502 (the album was assembled post-war by the vet, hence the plastic corner tabs).

Notice the reversible camo jacket.....

Hi Jim,

The symbol in your second lot of photos is different from the first.
Your symbol in the second series is of a motorized kompanie, possibly a maintenance kompanie.
Check out this chart under "rear echelon units."

Hello larry ,I have previously ignored these symbols which turn up throughout my albums ...looking forward to reviewing them to see what I can learn ..a great piece of info . Same man so I assume he was a Driver ?
