            I don't believe that is a POW portrait. They may possibly be patients from a Lazarett that were soon to be released or attending some kind of technical course as there is a variety of uniforms. One of the SS men's face is disfigured. Photo taken by a studio photographer in Germany as his logo is inprinted on the portrait.

              Hello Bill

              Of course this is very obvious. But I think this picture is a deduction from an original is because it is very blurry, but what was doing at that time already. I thought to look because the miracle has healed well and is not an association, they were prisoners. Only groups of prisoners were numbered in the rule.
              So 100% sure I can not say that a hospital would duchaus photo possible.

                    German pow camp photo

                    Hi i have a picture of German pow in Yaxley pow camp its number 279.,its was taken in 1946/47,, the camp is in the village of Yaxley ,north of Peterborough in the uk.
