        What Tunics?

What model of tunics are those two soldiers on the left wearing?

What is an M45? Is it another model?

It appears the officer in the center is wearing an M44 with a modified dark collar added. A fairly rare photo to find, and thanks for posting it.

The M45 is a simplified M44 tunic. We collectors made the name.
I'm collecting anything related to the towns Castricum and Bakkum during WWII.
Also soldbucher from 116pzdiv. And 1944-1945 eastfront pockets, kampfgruppe and Oder front.

Also note no breast or hat eagles. Obviously the picture was taken at some point after 8 May, 1945.

Might be some M44 tunics in wear in this film, currently on YouTube?

According to the information given (i.e if accurate), might be POA (artillery) troops in Prague in 1945.

                              Ref post #311:-

                              Well spotted!

Can't help thinking that the M44 he's wearing might be a re-issue at the very end of the war (rather than worn in the Courland pocket itself), as it looks a little too clean to have been in that Hell-hole for several months, and I wonder if M44's ever made it into Courland through the minimalist supply chain in the first place?

Could be one of the few (wounded, sick etc) evacuees back to Germany before the surrender? Of course we'll never know!

                              Regards, Paul
