I have a '45 dated M44 Polizei tunic that has the same square Litzen application as is obviously unusual within Polizei as well.

Hi, at 29'40" into this YouTube film:-

          https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V0sCTyijOjI

you can see what appears to be an M44 jacket being worn (somewhere) in a trench, at 'the front line'. It is apparently unused newsreel footage and dated as February 1945.

Note that it looks relatively new compared to the crumpled M42 tunic next to it, also that the wearer has used his earlier war dark green Unteroffizier boards.

(Of interest also, the M42 tunic wearer with the M42 field cap, shoulder strap unit slides and possibly an earlier war dark green bevo eagle?)

Also, is this another one at 29'50" in? The triangular eagle can be seen. (Decorated NCO between 2 Officers)

          Regards, Paul

Sweet! And what appears to be a printed breast eagle?

                      trap

Also looks like it could be a late embroidered trap as well.

                        zauberflote and Pauke,

Thank you for the comments. Here are some enlargements, the trap is surely embroidered, the breast eagle is very likely printed, but hard to be sure,

                        Regards,
                        Kerry.
