On the back of a photo...

Hi Guys
This is written on the back of a photo showing two Panthers on the Eastern front, I think I have been able to make out some of the words but making sense of the whole thing has eluded me so far, does anyone have any thoughts?

Yup, he was a loader in a panzer. Wounded by shell fragments, they managed to get him to a field hospital but were unable to save him.

The standard "we're very sorry, we'll miss him, he was an exemplary comrade, etc." is all in there.

(edit: just as an aside, I'm not glossing over it because it's trivial and not important. It's just sort of a standard death notice letter from a unit NCO to the family/mother)
