even when it is difficult to translate such "strong message" I will try it:

"The eternal is silent, loud the evanescence, silent god's will is passing earth's quarreling!"

Sorry, but I cannot read/understand the word. It is too difficult if you only show o n e word without showing the (whole) context and knowing more about the handwriting of the writer.

          HJ image

Here's a young HJ member. Can someone tell me where he's from? You can see a patch on his left sleeve. The reverse has his name and date the photo was taken. It looks like March, 1940.

Here's a halftrack doing wheelies. Who knew they could do that? There's writing on the reverse.

                    Sdkfz. 6

                    Hi Rob,

Thanks for identifying the type of halftrack. I realize of course the driver isn't intentionally doing a wheelie, still it kind of looks like that. Is that white mark near the driver, a unit marking?

                        Otto

Here's Otto, that's all I can make out of his name on the back. I hope someone can tell me his last name. I assume the blue X on the back meant he was killed, but I don't know.

Here's a panzer in mud. The writing on the back is partly obscured due to it being removed from an album. I didn't do it.
