        Thanks!
s.S. would make sense for rifle ammo (Schweres Spitzgeschoss).
But i wonder why they wrote this down?
I only saw this before with ammo for foreign weapons.

Please could someone help me with this? I do not know if colour or greyscale is easier to read, so I have included both.
                Many thanks,
                Kerry.

                                Caption to flamethrower photo

May I ask for help with the Sütterlin writing on the back of a post card? To give you context, this is part of a Konvolut of documents and classified development file that came out of the Heeres Waffenamt Prüf 5, where a Dr. Schotten was engaged in the development of flame throwers. He became a Dr.of Engineering by submitting his flame thrower development work as his doctorate thesis. The development file is typed, so I can read it without a problem, but I am unable to read this caption to the photo. I can make out, however, the following by myself.
At the top Kl. Fm W. 39=kleine Flammenwerfer 39
In the middle : Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabrik AG, producer of flamethrowers
End : I see something about being promoted to a Dr. Ing, which I assume refers to what I explained above.
