                      Sorry but the rank of this officier on the photo is just Major and not Generalmajor.
                      And yes there was Generalmajor Julius von Bernuth and he was KC holder.

                              Hi Guy! Schorbatschi would make sense, as a location. Known today as Schorbach, France. Von Bock, who led Army Group Center in Operation Barbarossa, was in France just before the operation began.
