I picked these two up today. This one is a Knight's Cross winner, private portrait. There is writting on the back, which I will post. Identity unknown right now, but I'm hoping to make a positive ID soon.
      Steve;Very nice!

Back with some more. Here's a LW portrait that I picked up because it showed that RAD stick pin he's wearing. That's another badge in wear I have in my collection, no matter how small it is.

Here's is a very nice mountain trooper shot, showing the arm patch and what I believe is an HJ badge. This is a great looking picture.

I liked this one for the great coat he is wearing. Anyone familiar with this model?

Here is another RAD portrait with an interesting story behind it. I have two of these, which is not completly uncommon, but usually from the same seller. I had the first one for at least a year. Got it from a seller in the US. One day, a good while later I was browsing the sale forum on another site and I noticed a lot of various paper items for sale. The photo showed all the items in one pile, not individual scans. There was a few things in there that looked decent. As I looked closer, I recognized one portrait. It was a duplicate of one I already had, shown above. It was a different seller, somewhere in Europe I believe. I picked up the lot. It was the exact same postcard portrait, same studio stamp on the rear also. What are the chances of that happening? Anyone have a similar story?

Standars-issue rain coat, made out of waterproofed/ruberized fabric. These were often obtained through the Heeres-Kleider-Kasse.

I must have a catalog of the Heeres-Kleider-Kasse showing this type of coat somewhere, but I can't quite recal where I stored it. I will probably find it when I have moved in to the new house.

Nice postcards you have there Steve,

Thanks. I knew it looked different than the standard great coat, now I know why. It's fun to get shots of different pieces of equipment.

Just in from the good old Estand, a source for many great portraits. A family shot showing the Kreta cufftitle and an IAB.

Another family shot. I believe this is a Bavarian police uniform. Looks like an Imperial wound badge too.

Two brothers I would say, one a panzer soldier.
