Gentlemen,

It's very rare to see a WWII photo of a German serviceman wearing the Olympic Decoration First Class among his WWII combat decorations like Major Willy Liniger,a holder of the German Cross In Gold. I think there were other Germans that wore the Olympic Decoration First Class among their other decorations during WWII.

This photo was taken in 1939 in Rome and the German Police General in the middle is a clear holder of the Olympic Decoration 1st Class.
