        Hello Guys,

Today I have received a big envelope from Herr Regeniter.

He put a lot of pictures in there, war and post war.

Al pictures have a story written on the back of it, but unfortunately i can not read his handwriting.

He also put in some drawings of battles, also written on the back.

        Kind regards,

        Laurens

          Hello my friends,
here is my little project - my and from part also my friend of our club.
All pictures are from personal correspondence. Only Remi Schrijnen picture we got as a gift.
I did not publish all the photos, only part of it. Signed books I was also not given on pages. Even so, I hope that people like it.

Unfortunately, at this moment it is only in Czech language.

                R.I.P Herrn Georg Bleher!
Another example of the real German Soldier of WW2 and great "Vorbild" for young Soldiers to follow!

Georg wrote a great book which I recommend to all:

When did Gast passed away?I believe that now, with the dead in few months of Jamrowski,Kunkel,Gerstner and Gast, now Herbert Fries should be the last RK träger from the Fallschirmjägers.

November 2011, but I don´t have an exact date. Sorry :-(

Don't worry, thank you anyway.I'm taking a look to who are the other RKT from FSJ which I didn't have a date of death.
Apart from Werner Schmidt and Karl Tannert, there's also Heinz Krink,Martin Schächter, Walter Werner and Hans Joachim Weck.

Just letting you know so that you won't expect any more replies from this veteran.
You know, I had a weird experience with that too. I sent him a few photos to sign late 2011, and he returned only one of them, and attached a note saying "please consider the cost of medication for people my age. I charge 3.5 euro per signature" or something like this (I am paraphrasing). I had sent him the standard 5 Euros that I send all veterans when asking for signed pictures, and he sent this reply back, so I sent Herr Bob another 5 euros. (I find that 5 euros always covers the postage costs with a little extra left.)

He is the only one that said something like that. They usually either sign and return or don't reply at all.

So, maybe you should send more money? I was happy to once he had asked me, I just didn't realized he needed more! But of course it's understandable given the amount of requests he must get, and the increasing difficulty given his age.

I have an Idea for you guy's......Did you EVER consider LEAVING these RKT's ALONE in their old age....DAMN !
