Tom B is spot on in what he has said , enclose the money with your letter and hopefully one will get a reply . Many of these men just live on their state pensions and get hundreds of letters each year from all over the world , their costs must be covered .

Schuck is in a nursing home. Maybe that´s the reason you didn´t get a reply?

Schnellmeyer, thank your for your answer. Good to know he is doing fine. I am no autograph-hunter but wanted to know if he could provide me with a short account of his RK-ceremony. A veteran of the 3./ schwere Pz.Jg. Abt.1 LAH I am in good contact with provided me with some images.
btw. I received a reply from RvR. today. Surgery is on his doorstep so he will be 'out of action' for a few weeks.

A 92 year old man didn't reply to your letter immediately or at least within a month and now you want to be ringing up his daughter to ask why ???

You need to be slowing it down a bit mate , i for one would be very reluctant to be giving out addresses and contact details to someone with this lack of understanding and attitude !!
