Hi Andrew,

It is Guenther Halm instead of Gerhard. Guenther was at that time the youngest KC Holder. He received his KC personally from GFM Erwin Rommel...He and his wife Regina Halm are very nice and friendly people.

Yes, Paul Egger died in july 2007. I wrote him a letter shortly after his death not knowing about his recent passing. I have still a good contact with his partner who lived together with him.

Yes, you are correct. I have him listed in the KC Winner index. If you look, the list is broken up into three sections: KC/OS, KC/O, and KC.
