    Yes

    Another one:

    18./19.7.40, Lt. Josef Flügge, 2./Kampfgruppe 126

That is the date engraved in the Goblet. Maybe he received the Goblet for a special mission flown during the evening/night on those dates.

    Regards, Thomas

Anyone who follows my activities here in the WAF and in the German SDA will know that I am not only a great friend of the Honor goblet, but also the night hunters' victory cups are among my favorite collection areas.
One , who was allowed to call both awards his own, was Willi Herget.
A man whom I adore very much. An extraordinary pilot, who even on the day as a destroyer pilot on the somewhat lumbering Me 110 could record numerous successes.
I was told by american friends that his estate was exhibited at one of the major militaria shows in the States.
I would very much like to know the award date of his Honor Cup. Who can help here?

            Thanks and best regards

Gentlemen who owns a huge grouping to Herget shows up at SoS more or less every other year. Sets up by the entry.

So you ask, show me the date? Didn't get that angle when Tim and I stood there mouths open looking at the grouping.

Date was in the back of the cup.

                        Hello Chen,
these are the most extensive discounts on Nachtjäger victory cups known to me as existing realities:
Ludwig Becker, oak leaf holder with 44 cups
Heinz Strüning, oak leaf holder with 35 Cups
Reinhard Kollak, knight cross holder with 27 Cups

These estates are also complete, no possible cup is missing.

Victory Cups were not awarded during the entire wartime.
The latest known Cups are dated from 25.07.1943 and given to Uffz. Walter Rohlfing NJG 3
Even successful night fighters, who only reached their high numbers of launches from the September 1943 to the end of war, did not get any cups.
During a telephone conversation with Heinz Rökker, Oak Leave holder with 64 aerial victories, I found out that he only got 3 cups.

                        Best regards

The estate of Helmut Woltersdorf is very beautiful.
I would be interested in what collection he is.

                            Waterloo,
I really like to see a photo of this 44 cups ( Becker's estate) one day.
Not to side track this thread, let back to 1940 goblet subject.
                            Thanks.
