    Some of these early dates do not line up with what most of us use as a source, the Horst Scheibert book.

        Beautiful Hermann Pokal Chen, even if it is a little dinged and denazified.

        Thanks Waterloo. Added Ofw Hahne to 6 Okt 40

            Haug was I./KG53 and received his Goblet on the same day as his Beobachter Alfred Sticht.

              Great knowledge guys

              So Schalk was only the 6th recipient, not the first one as mentioned in almost every "popular science" website

                  Dear collector friends,
                  my list is of course not perfect. I have collected the data over several years, unfortunately I have failed to document the respective source.
                  I am very grateful for every correction and improvement.
                  The list, also incorrectly shows clearly how rare and especially a 1940 Honor goblet is.
                  Let us work together on this wonderful topic.
                  Best regards

                          Great job! It's frightening how many are missing in the reference books.

                            My first answer to post in this topic, was removed by the moderator. His right. If I know the author of the post well, and you can believe me, I know. He is not interested in this subject, but the price that he can get for this Ehrenpokal. Stay tuned e-stand ;

                              KIA 27 September, 1940, shot down by a Hurricane of RAF No. 17 Sq., piloted by F/O Leary. His gunner, Albert Kopge, was also KIA (Bf 110 Loss List). One known victory, his 1st, a Hawk-75A near Merzig, 30 September, 1939. His 2nd, a Spitfire W of Bournemouth on 15 August, 1940. His 3rd, a Spitfire at Warmwell on 26 August, 1940. Channel pilot. Alternate spelling: Liesberger (Bf 110 Loss List)

                              3 kills before he was himself shot down and killed. Interesting to see such an early goblet but dates don't calculate into the value as far I am concerned. It's all about the man who earned it and how he earned it and what he did to get there and after. Horst's career rather short.

                                Brian, you know I value you, but your opinion is the opinion of the person interested not only in the price, but also in the subject. And life is brutal

                                By the way. If I know life well your free knowledge will be a good asset in negotiating the price
