Tom is magnetic, however, has the steel mounting plate which also distort some material ... I try to have a few more pictures and more detailed .. Thank you for your interest!

Type 4 embroidered TDB

Another and last known variant of the tank destruction badge which also needs to be exposed in this thread is this embroidered type TDB shown partially in this picture of Albrecht Schimpf.

These embroidered TDB´s are incredibly rare. Therefore I think that they are samples for production just like many other German awards later in the war or just privately made examples.

The first one I can show is this one with black backing wool. Notice the colour of the tank and also the length of the aluminium strip.

and close up. Notice the slightly different stitching manner of the tank.

Here is another - unfortunately shortened and damaged - but with a clear view of the rear without backing cloth. It has the same stitching as the first one shown.

Also there are other variants - disputable without any authentic imagery but still interesting to show - next to all the field made TDB's. Like this one:
