interesting i wonder how he was able to put the smock in to trousers,smocks are realy long

There is evidence that Jump smocks were modified i.e. shortened so his smock most likely was modified which allowed it to be tucked into his trousers. This FJ was fighting in Italy and it was common place to modify uniforms and have field made camo uniforms made by unit tailors. I have previously posted some photo evidence of shortened Jump smocks on this thread.
