Very nice new pictures Bill, what is interesting is that they are marching in line carrying their MG's and they still have a free hand to smoke.

v interesting to finally see the canvas and leather mg breech covers in place in this latest pampered marching falshirms picture. thanks for sharing. strange how smoking was tolerated so much in a land ruled over by a non smoker.and fascinating previous pic grouping of crashed truck loaded with troop supplies, rucksacks and kit, bikes...stuff meant to be waiting for them as we often hear. white collarless shirts worn by falshirms in the ditch-pause pics imply early war period i feel.

wouldnt want to be standing where the left guys are,

what purpose would that shelter have on the AA position as the wooden poles are cover would be in there arc of fire ?

They are in training and the shelter built was simply made to keep them and the MG34 dry.
