Here is a photo Eric would love to add to his collection. My Friend Karl-Heinz was given the opportunity to photograph the entire photo album of a Fallschirmjaeger Sturmgeschutz member. This is one of the portraits out of the album. I was given some scans of them. One of the best albums I ever saw. Unfortunately Karl-Heinz had to return the album to the family...the veteran is deceased.

When looking at casual group pictures like this one of the FJs, you guys ever wonder how many in that picture made it through the war?

Nice pictures, Bill, thanks for posting!

Hi Bill, Awesome series of photos, especially the rank and file on day to day task. Also the amount of mixed use camo/standard wear. Just amazing!
Thank you for sharing your collection of photos!

                    Walter & Joe,

Thanks for your kind comments. I like the variety myself. Here is a more sombre photo that arrived in today's post....a FJ cemetary on KRETA.

Thanks! Not likely I will do a book but I do share some of my pics with some folks who are doing books. I just picked up a few FJ pics not smocks or helmet shots but interesting.
