                Gday everyone,

                The knights Cross winner pictured above is Helmut Gustav Gortz.

                Gortz was awarded the Knihts Cross on 24 May 1940 for Holland. At the tme, Feldwebel Gortz commanded I Zug/3 Kompanie/Fallschirmjager Regiment 1.

                Gortz was awarded the Oakleaves to the Knights Cross on 30 April 1945.
