                  Robert:

Your Hans Schütze Soldbuch is indeed a rare little puppy...many thankx for posting this superb Mielke / Knaust related Soldbuch.

*** By the way, the KIA letter to the parents of Mielke's (first) Panzer Driver (that I mentioned in post #38) can also be seen in Scott Revell's "Retake Arnhem Bridge" publication.....

No arguements from me - great pieces indeed and grateful you could lend them to be put in my book.

Rob - lets not stop there as I am sure we would all like to see the Hummel grouping .

Thanks guys again for your support.

                    Cheers

                    Scott

I honestly cannot believe the lack of (positive) comments in regards to the Schutze Soldbuch. Schutze was attached to one of the most famous, if not thee most famous, Wehrmacht Panzer units to have fought at Arnhem.

Why do run-of-the-mill, photoless Soldbuchs from overage reservists serving with back-water units get more comments then Schutze has so far ???

Wow, just wow. That has to be one of the best pictures I have ever seen in a Soldbuch. And it makes it even better that he was a part of such a famous battle. Very cool!
