In my earlier post i stated already that i wrote to the admin about this scammer Hlee to prevent more members to get screwed but there was never an answer or any action taken.

WAF member emperor is still active. he wanted to buy a ek1 from me and wanted it sent to the usa, although hes in asia. - i also had a brand new member from china with 0 posts wanting to buy most of my stuff up... do you really think i replied to his pm

since ive been a member, the WAF has always been an easy target for scammers because there is simply nothing in place to protect members - even a simple ban (like at the britishmedalforum) on brand new, low post member selling on the e-stand was rejected.

I sold my Glider badge to Margat in the Ukraine. He paid with 2 PayPal accounts. One was as a gift which I thought a cas could not be opened with. He now has my badge and the PayPal money. I can't believe I didn't notice the red flags. I had just never had problems with buyers before. 4 years with no issues, now I lost out on a trade and then this...

I just bought a case for a medal from Margat. I transferred the payment and when he received it I got the case. The were no problems with the transaction.

I was suspicious:
1. not a big price for this sign
2. he immediately agreed to pay for shipping and insurance
3. I did not pay him% paypal, he said it doesn't matter, he easily agreed to everything, that speaks that he can easile waste his money.

I listed it for $1200 and lowered it to $1000 which isn't super cheap considering emedals has a few under that price. I said no fees if you paid as a gift. You paid the full asking price so I was fine paying $11 for shipping and the insurance. I usually sell items all in anyways.

You paid with 2 different PayPal addresses, requested $1000 insurance, which should have been a red flag, not to mention your location and short time on the forum. Please do the right thing and return my medal or drop your bogus PayPal claim. I have sold hundreds of items and purchased hundreds of items over 4 years on the forum with no issues until now. I should have read this topic before selling anything to you. As a warning to other sellers even personal PayPal payments can be taken away if the buyer lies and says the transaction was unauthorized as this buyer did.
