RK awarded to Feldwebel Otto Wuerfel
This Type A, S & L Knight's Cross that was given to Feldwebel Wuerfel of JG 51 for 79 aerial victories. This cross was awarded during his time as prisioner by the soviets. He died in captivity (22.12.1944) as an Oberfeldwebel. DKIG in Februar 1944.
After his dead he was promoted to Leutnant.


Leutnant Otto Wuerfel. You can cleary see how they "added" the RK to his neck (common activity for killed recipients)
