Rudel got his awarded cross on 2. December 1941. That makes it clear that the one in the photo is not his award piece (also judging by the condition). The plain edge wreath is either a Zimmermann, Klein or (post war?) S&L.

Dietrich, the wreath, although the round plain edge type, does not appear to have the details of the zimmermann/klein wreath! Perhaps it is just a complete fake, after all, many of Rudel's awards were stolen from him. Maybe the DK was never returned and he just picked one up postwar to complete the group.
