            They look different to me too.

            Could it be that these reference photos, which certainly look old, are in fact not that old ?

            Just kind-a-reminded me of one of the more recent art scams where photos showing particular paintings in an old collection from the 1920ies were faked to create fake-provenance for the paintings....

                Are his awards the ones on display ever year at the SOS? The guy has two or three groups of pilots awards with diamonds and there documents.
