    Hi Tom! I've only found this photo in two other sites so far.. and both of them claimed it's Meyer's funeral.

    The TDB on the pillow is very weird actually. Thanks for noticing it, I didn't see it at first

    Who else if not Meyer's service?

      Hey Buddy ! Makes me wonder also about who else's funeral it cold be ? Maybe not even W-SS ? I do know for positive that Meyer was never awarded any TDB's. I'll have to think about this one. Tom

                            Looks like a Fallschirmschuetzenabzeichen on the bottom row, black background.

                            The other two on the top row, black background, would be badges worn on the uniform, right? So, perhaps a Ground Assault and Wound badge?

                            It would be nice to get a higher resolution image of the ribbon bar.
