Hi Sepp ! There is a post below...Guenter Bartsch group. I know I have a signed photo of him.(war time taken), but not a pic in postwar. Do you have anything on him ? I checked my OdR books, he was born 1920 and died 6 March 1990. He was awarded the RK on 12 Nov. 1943. Funny though that he is NOT listed as ever serving in the Bundeswehr as indicated in the post ????? These OdR lists and books that I have are very accurate, so I wonder what the deal is???? Thanks my Friend. Tom

As far as I have investigated, Herr Bartsch never served in the bundeswehr. The RKT database (Das-Ritterkreuz.de) also doesn't list him in any postwar Armed Forces.

I met him in 1978 at the OdR reunion....seemed like a really nice man. He liked all of us collectors and would answer any & all questions we had. I remember thinking how beautiful his 57 RK was...wish I could remember more about those days. Oh well .....age I guess. Tom
