Funny that a B-frame S&L is "normal" for you by now but i understand that For many collectors such one is the cherry on the collecting cake.

The Schickle is as ususal a stunning piece. Wonderful condition and excellent quality.

Did both RK´s came without ribbons?

The Schickle came without ribbon, the St&L with 20 cm of modern crap ribbon .
Besides the RK's the 1957 issue ribbon is getting very hard to find .

I'm having more luck finding early & mid RK cases these days .

Just the KC .... from collector to collector ... 450-550 Euro. Dealer price much higher of course.

These days, I would value a full set ( KC + ribbon + etui ) around 750 Euro.

Guess so .... if money is an issue, a collector can find a good magnetic 2nd pattern for decent price ( if you know where to look and have the patience ).

I agree with you, of the Luft designs, the Observers is also my favorite, just ahead of the Pilots!!!
