Hi,
here's a silver-piece in best condition from the rare manufacturer RW (unknown).
It's from very high quality craftsmanship. I think the concept of this EK is to build a solid EK 1 with the minimum of weight.
The thickness of the backplate and those of the framework are only 0.7mm together. The seam between backplate and framework is visible with the magnifying glass only in a very little place.
The weight of the piece is only 12,5 gramms. It's still a rattle core piece.
I love the needle.

Some say never let a great thread die, and I must agree, because this was probably the best I've ever seen. I just went back through this one, all 16 pages I think, just looking, and sometimes drooling. I must say that it beats any show one can attend, when one can see so many fantastic examples of Imperial crosses in one place. I absolutely covet gregM's 'fanged' Godets' and his AWS 'waffle back' double screw post cross. Unbelievable these crosses. But without a doubt, I'm still in awe of this particular cross above. It's scarcity cannot be underscored, and it is the type of cross that leaves all of us collectors always hungry for more. The quest for these is half the fun, much like those fabled Knights chasing after 'the grail'! Thanks again for sharing some fantastic pieces.Originally posted by Daniel Murphy View PostReverse. I forgot about this thread, but was glad to see it again. Some of the stuff here is incredible. I had posted a couple of my crosses here but the pictures weren't great. I've ditched them and will post my half dozen pieces here with better shots.Most have been posted around before but mat as well add them to this thread for continuity.
