Anyway, he was a Leutnant in Detachment Tüllmann / Freiwilligen Regt. Tüllmann

-raised in March 1919 in Müsterlager with two inf. Bns., four Fieldartillery Batteries and Hussar Regt. 12 (Torgau IV. Army Corps). In April to Border Protection Pomerania, 30 May to Silesia as part of 117.Div. Returned from Upper Silesia on 21 January 1920 and became 4th Bn. Reichswehr Regt. 110 Munsterlager.

I also bid on this card, and went much higher than I usually go on postcards because of the sharp details on the collars and cap badge. The card eventually went for 92€ which seemed a little over the top to me, despite the comparative scarcity of the unit.

Still, a very nice photo of a well-known Freikorps unit.

Third Reich Panzer troops. I would post it in the appropriate forum in the Third Reich section.

That skull pattern was already used in the Weimarer Republik (for example on Wehrwolf tabs) since the 20's.

That's true. But, in this case it's likely a collar tab for a Wehrmacht Panzer wrap-around tunic.

                      Hi,

here is a picture of mine, showing the wear of some skulls. I couldn't figure out which Freikorps section is pictured here.
