Ja, Genosse. About 75% of the displayed items are those of Hauptman Harry.
Only one of the display sections showcased my scale of issue.

        Genosse,
The Genosse Hauptmann is a big man in the eyes of this Command.

          Very nice display Genosse.
Are those original MPi's? Or run of the mill AK's with the stocks and grips changed?

That is a good question; one for which I do not have an answer as they were not mine. I will try to find out though and get back to you.

Well since I haven't been on any of the forum for quite some time and our new member of MSR-16 has posted some photos of our most recent living history display, I thought I'd answer this question and try to be a bit more active around here.

The two MPi are in fact all original NVA parts with dummy receivers added to make them safe and legal. I'd love to get them working to fire blanks. I have all the internal parts.

Good to see a valued Genosse back active in the struggle for World Peace.

Glad to read you Genosse hta1970.....

                  Genossen,
Had an event May 15 and 16. Didn't get ahold of some pictures my friends took until recently though, but here they are

Hi Justin, how many DDR re-enactors were there? Where was the event? Cheers, Torsten.

                      I'm always the only one

Actually, I got a number of new recruits and one of them has already got all his gear together. So its starting to gain ground, slowly but surely.

The event was Findlay Armed Forces Day in Findlay, OH which is about about an hour and 45 minutes northwest of Columbus.

                            Hey Justin,

This is Steve, I'm the guy you met at Findlay who has all the gear... well some of it!

Messing around with the scale of norms. Yes I'll get dinged for non-issue equipment. But then again I had to survive outside for a weekend of 40 lows... and I have an R-105 radio

One of our guys in St Louis has a BTR40... so why not use it!

Working with the Soviets in their Command center, during an airsoft game.

trying to eat German-ish rations, since K-rations are impossible to get let alone eat.

PS. I have my flame retardant suit on..... and am looking for constructive criticism, so fire away.
                            Thanks!

                              Genosse Stagg,
welcome to this progressive forum !
I occasionally lurk in the Red Alliance forum too, and therefore your photographs are already known to me ... You are also going to recognise a couple of characters by their distinctive jargon (e.g. Viktor = People's Army...).
You will undoubtedly learn to cope with threats of duty car and people's court... I get a daily ration of two threats a day regardless of what I do ... but you will soon discover that the emphasis of this forum is friendliness and if you follow Genosse Justin you are undoubtedly following the best example .
He can best be described as a beacon of light forever urging us all to higher and better standards !
                              Hurrah! Hurrah! Hurrah!
