Like you, I don't have enough of these caps to definitely say it is war time or post war although I suspect it is not post war. If the markings are authentic then this is not a post war cap as DRP was not used in hats manufactured after the end of the war. At least as far as I know. DBP was used however.

Here is a refreshing change. This is a TR Reichspost visor that was re-badged with BRD Bundespost insignia by the Postmann after the war:

He simply swapped out the Reichskokarde and replaced it with a Federal one:

23 euro is bid now.
I'll post the reached endprice.
Also a wartime visor and not a DDR one in my opinion.
