Or am I the only one who sees a cut down pair of post-war parachute regiment shoulder titles?

    Cheers, Luc

Probably the same as the morons bidding on this ridiculous ensemble:

Spot On Jack That was my top bid and I couldn't even bring my self to watch the last seconds of the auction. I've been trying to aquire one of these for a long time so I'm pretty happy.

                      Hi Jack,

Yes, saw that. The crazy world of eBay I bought a better one on eBay 4 months ago for a mere fraction of that

Although the last two items posted here reached healthy prices, this just goes to show eBay is very much hit and miss:

This might sound silly but us military buyers just love to buy stuff of people who dont really know what they have . I see poopskia had loads of Len Whittakers badges ( I take it it was he who wrote the book ) but they had hardly any interest and went for minimial amounts why ? who knows ? Rob

                              I'll tell you why Rob...

...because they were never part of Len Whittaker's collection, the seller is a liar and the badges were fake.

Most, if not all, of his collection was sold through Bosleys. And even if he had owned fake badges just for reference it was still wrong of the seller to describe them as original.

                              Jack.

Fibre rim that's been repainted, with a liner that's bad and worn chinstraps. Nevertheless it got a bid within 5 minutes after listing from a guy who's also from Italy.

                                Hmm, fishy!
