Do you think someone got auction fever ? come on really they have to be worth ******163;200 max . Its a mad world out there and I am on the hyperdrive to oblivion.Rob.

Probably a bit "over the top" Rob, but then again how often does an original untouched WW2 battledress blouse with it's original insignia to a "decent" unit turn up? Not very often! I think they are rarer than people think. Now two BD blouses from the same source, one being an earlier pattern, I suppose it's not impossible for it to end on £423.00.

unfortunately, this is the way things are going - if you want quality non-fake/messed about with militaria you have to pay for it (well most of the time )

and probably as such is not sooo over the top....
If these were german...what would they fetch??
these items are getting rarer and rarer
          and the prices will become
          more "rarified" as well

                Let's hope not.
A fine pair of home guard anklets have been cut up so it seems for the
                chinstraps.

The funny thing is that the pictures are crystal clear, the seller isn't trying to hide any of the obvious faults. Does he really think it is a genuine helmet?

Interesting, I notice that the "Polish" para helmet auction was ended early by the seller and all bids cancelled. People must have contacted him?

More likely some idiot tried to buy it from him outside ebay for a large sum.
