Don't believe everything you read on the internet, that's how WWI got started.

Well, I'd have to say I've got a 3 way tie going between "Gallipoli", "Breaker Morant", and "Zulu". If I had to narrow it down to just one, it would probably be "Gallipoli".

Geoff, I'm glad you liked it, when Gen. Savage(Gregory Peck) reams the officer "...for derelection of duty, deserting your post and a yellow streak a mile wide" is one of the classic scenes of any movie. I might go rent it now and try to watch it after the Angels take on the Yanks. Frank

Frank: I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that my first thought was the "Leper Colony" episode from the TV series! The movie was a great one too! Go Angels! (Anyone who beats the Yankees is ok by me...a frustrated Jays fan!)

GO YANKEES!!! Sorry, had to get that in!

As an aside, I would vote the first half (Boot Camp) of Full Metal Jacket as one of the greats, and the second half (in country) as one of the lamest.
