the thing that got me wondering is WHY do people think its crap?
its a typical tarrantino movie, if you thought it was going to be a 100% correct warmovie you shouldnt go there,
when you go to tarrantino its all about :
blood
violence
chapter dialoque
lots of filthy talk
and way over the top scenes, just like dusk till dawn, etc etc

Not sure.
For those that "didn't" like it ... what Tarantino movie DID they like? I have an idea the answer is none. So it's not surprising. Kinda like the one guy that said he hated every movie that he made yet stll went Then had the gall to say it sucked. That made sense didn't it?
Good Tarantino movies would be Pulp Fiction and Reservoir dogs
but anyway, Inglorious Basterds was good. As earlier sad, not a historical correct movie or a typical war movie hehe but I like the movie for what it was, and I liked Hans Landa. I guess Brad Pitt was the biggest fail in the movie, don't know why...but didn't really think he was perfect for his character.
How many have seen the original Inglorious Basterds?

Now those were Tarantino movies that I liked.
I simply wished that Tarantino would have used all of the assets that were available to him to have made a real war movie. Had I known that it was going to be a weirdo sci-fi flick, I wouldn't have wasted my time. The previews led me to think it was really a war movie, not a "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" type movie with a WW2 theme.
If someone enjoys watching weird sci-fi films, fine, that is their business but please don't make snide remarks to someone simply because they don't.

Guys, I don't know that I thought the film was total crap...I've been a Tarantino fan since he wrote 'True Romance' and like all his films (love some). However, I didn't think it was typical Tarantino, I actually found it a bit drawn out in parts and wanted more Tarantinoesque action!

What Sci-fi movie are you talking about? I think you watched the wrong movie
Anyway .... that's your problem ... you thought this was a serious attempt at a WW2 movie? Where did you get that idea from? Like I said ... again, someone that doesn't get Tarantino's movie style.
