WOW! I like miniatures, but 1:700? I am just now doing a U-Boat VIIC in 1:350 and I wish it were about 1:175, (just a little bigger)

          Very nice Dietrich. Good job.

I agree with what you say ... hours spent putting on all those rigging lines and placing pin-thin masts up and then along comes one snoopy person who goes ... "oh cool look at this" ................ *Snap* ...

            Dietrich,
Congratulations on finishing the model it looks fantastic.
But please keep a lookout for Fairey Swordfish aeroplanes coming through the window when you decide to put the model on display

            All the best, Gareth

Dietrich, beautiful job! Are you putting on a base of sculpted water or just as is? Mike.

This is how it is displayed right now. I will add a row of rectagular (scale) beams under the keel and a name and the coat of arms. And - of course - a plexigals cover.

To the upper left in the empty space we will have the HMS Hood and above the two ships the KM Prinz Eugen. That should give a nice display.

                                Bismark Model

Banging Job on your Bismark!! I'd love to be able to see and have the patience to do what you are doing. You have really put an artistic touch to this model. I was thinking that it has to be wild doing all this with only Black and White pictures for reference. My crazy self would get it al finished with all the Color of the parts and hold it up beside an old Black and white photo and saying that "it just doesn't look right"!.All in all, A wonderful job! Do you have other ships that we could maybe see? All the best, Butch
