I believe there are public buses to and from Berchtesgaden (there is a bus stop near the Platterhof car park) but I have no idea how regular they are.Comment

Unfortunately,when I last was there with my wife(1995) fog made it impossible to admire the view.
Bought some great pewter pieces across the town stream and up the hill.
