    Most of you are aware of the history in this city.

    9 Nov, 1923...in an attempt to seize power and overthrow the Weimar Republic, Hitler and
    the early NASDAP members marched toward the Bavarian Defense Ministry.


    But while passing the Feldherrnhalle at Odeonsplatz they were confronted by 130 police.
    Gun fire erupted and in the ensuing firefight 4 police and 16 NASDAP members were killed.
    (gunfire erupts, things ensue, that's just what they do, and did...96 years ago!).
    But how to find Feldherrnhalle?

        ...and go around to the northwest side, you will find a very nice tombak 3D map. It's about 2 meters long.
        I took a couple pictures of it and used these as my maps for the next few days

        (us guys don't like using GPS or asking for directions...please keep this in mind ladies)

              After the rise to power a 24 hr guard was placed at the spot of the bloodshed.
              If you walked past you were required to give a "Sieg Heil"
              For those that did not want to give the salute, they could cut through Viscardigasse, an
              alley less than a block behind the Feldherrnhalle.
              It became known as "Shirker's Alley".

                  A WW1 fighter pilot with 22 kills and the Blue Max, Göring got shot in the nuts and ran for shelter behind this lion
                  (the lion does have a shield, so not a bad idea).

                  The books say he got shot in the upper leg, but Brian's Mom said that back in '38 when Göring's daughter was born, nobody
                  believed Hermann could father a child so they referred to her as Edda von Whom?


                  As you can see, I was also shot in the nuts, and wisely sheltered behind the lion's schield. Now to find some morphine...

                              I'd say that calls for a bier...and Pajamas is not only a stripper, but also a raging alcoholic.
                              So it wasn't hard to talk her into going to the Hofbrauhaus.
                              That dude on the roof has a very bright penis, but it makes HB-haus easy to find.
