Hello I present this document found today in Tunis which I think is an act of requisition of the German army. the owner of the concerned house (located in Rades, about 10km of Tunis) is Adolf Moulin. I can not read the name of the unteroffizier who signed.

Guys I just couldn't say no to this guy. It looks to be a great patch, not sure if its a cut off or what but will know more about it next week. How many times have you guys come across patches that were glued on that were war time done? I will post a back shot when it arrives as well as my very small collection of these great patches. Matt

I promised a back shot so will post another front and the back shot. This SV 288 patch was once sewn onto a uniform and at some point in the past it was glued onto this piece of brown wool. I don't believe it to be a blanket coat, though I have never handled one, it just does not have that cut off appearance. Shame it was glued but still a great original and hard to come by. Matt

Here he is again just chillin with some friends.. having some beers and talking about ole times like when we were at El Alamein and damn that sucked covering everyone elses arses while they GTFO of dodge......
The photo album in named to a SV288 member and was put together by his family in the 90s, the patch with the swastika picked out is his as well. Most of the photos have descriptions with them and some are marked El Alamein. The plaque is a cool one as well, has the POW info on the back to a CPT. Matt

the first group is from an officer of the 5th Leichte Division. He served with Pzr. Jgr. Abt. 39 ~ very first in Afrika . The Luft grouping is from a flak batterie man who served with Luft Flak Abt 53 throughout the Libyan conflict including El Alamein. I believe there were 5 batteries from Abt. 53 which were anti-tnk units dispersed on the Alamein front .
next days I will take some photos ... other groups and SB's / WP's open to let you see the units

It may be worth taking a look at the Heer panzer and pioneer shoulderstraps which you have shown. The panzer may be ok but I wouldn't feel all that comfortable with the pioneer from the photo. Mind you, the detail isn't that great in an ensemble shot such as this.
