    More photos, PLEASE
Shirts are so hard to find, for obvious reasons.
Here's one which came back in a kit-bag to used for fly-fishing by the KIWI veteran.

Mark-did he really use it for fly-fishing?! Nice shirts guys. Yes, keep the photos flowing...

I doubt it was used too often! There is sweat staining to the neck and some tiny wear holes along the collar near the stampings, but other than that, it was preserved as a souvenir by the family - with a DAK pith helmet eagle shield in the left breast pocket. And it's huge!
Here's another, more like a rayon mix than fine cotton.
        Mark.

That one looks pretty good Derka. I might just have to take some shots of my tropical shirts to show on here as well.

                DAK m35

Have taken a few pics of my M35 camo helmet that was brought back from North Africa from a US veteran. A nice mix of greens and browns..some dirt was thrown in the mix. I was told the helmet was picked up "because it looked neat with the battle damage". The liner is well used and torn and appears to have dried blood on the tongues.

Could you post a photo from on top, showing the cracks more clearly?
I believe most of these cracked helmets cracked because of metal fatigue, not because of battle damage, unless there is the trace of a small impact.
Maybe this helmet was lying under the hot sun, and then cooling off at night for several months, causing it to crack? I dont see any signs of impact or anything violent.
Regardless of the reasons for the cracks, it is a very nice helmet, and the cracks do look kind of cool.
