Robert, I would be very interested to see your photos at the Max. However, I don’t know yet if I will be able to go this year. I’ll try to keep you informed.

As requested by Jägermeister, here are some additional photos of the MG13.

Best regards to All of You,
    Mark

Front sight, short muzzle device and bipod.

Right front side of the receiver (ejector). The AA sighting device is in position. Of interest is also the wooden MG-carrying handle.

Left front side with sighting device. Note that the magazine housing can be closed by a dust cover.

Left rear side with the serial number. We can see that the single (E = Einzelfeuer) or automatic (D=Dauerfeuer) firing trigger system, later seen on the famous MG 34, already existed on the MG 13.

Glad that these pictures have been of some help for you, Jägermeister.
Sorry to be boring for the other collectors but I reassure you all, here are the last pictures of the MG 13.

Really wonderful! A quetion to the mag loader: is it the original German mag loader or a Portuguesian? I have seen a mag loader for a MG13 long time ago before, but I don't remember properly..

The reloading tool is German and appropriately Waffen-Amt marked.
Anyway, note that the ’Portuguese MG13’ are 100 % German produced weapons … and also are the accessories.

Thank you, Langemark. I never saw a loading tool for a MG13 so clear and that point wasn't clear for me.. But now it is!
