          No date on the bottle is the give away. All war time Wehrmacht units are dated. No 1944 examples have been seen yet.

          This could be a pre/post war civilian example on war time webbing.

              A MN41 canteen

              Hi,
              I want to presente you my last aquisition : this M31 canteen. It has a web strap marked CA & S. The flask and the cover are marked MN 42. The cup was orgininaly painted in black (RFI 36) but repaint in green during the war.

                Canteen mfg.

                Hi
                After years of collecting German items i want to narrow down what i want to collect,
                is there a list of German canteen manufactures and their codes?
                also in order of rarity / collect ability?
                I have a little head start on them but where is the best places / dealers to buy from?

                    ss canteen

                    I purchased 3 canteens on ebay from eastern Europe, one of them was RZM numbered. I am not looking to sell it but I am interested in its value. Canteen, leather and cloth are marked RZM M6/5/39

                      Eastern Europe you mean Ukraine, Belarus and Russia I guess ? The canteen sound to paramilitary, so not too much value ( unless it is SS marked but I guess you would mention about that ).
