Except I don't make fake SS camouflage items, I have only had friends hearts broken by these fakes.
Lorenzo clearly believes his fake covers are real.
The mis direction of the angle of cloth being cut is just a diversion to the guts of that has went on over the last 10ishyears.
Please remember 10 years ago.
Everyone had loads of money and SS was hot as a collectable.
The E-stand here was on fire.
It was loaded up with all types of quality and shoddy items.
Everything sold fast.
Making Fake helmet covers was good business.
Guys wanted their stuff and not loads of questions were asked.
People like PVL noticed there was an endless supply from Lorenzo.
Red Flag.
Fritz began connecting the dots.
When I met Lorenzo in person and he offered me my pick of 3 covers I connected the dots really fast.
Its actually really sad state of affairs for the SS helmet cover community which caught a break when the late war oaks of the hoard was found.
I personally want whats right for the community as I like to know my collection has real pieces and that makes me happy, fakes make me sick.
Its something I am sure we all share.
And there is NOT 1 person here who has not been taken to the floor by a fake and learned the hard way.
Is it a battle between good and bad ?
You decide.
