I would say around the $2000 - $3000 range depending on condition. Then again if its Weitze selling it @ Kassel it is probably 4500 Euro

True - he only had a text description. I think the price you paid was exactly right for one of Anton's black and white posters. That was a retail price and Weitze probably paid the seller half that.

Here's my opinion - these black and white posters even though they are by Anton and they are Waffen-SS they are pretty freaking boring and to me not very appealing. Most of them look like he whipped them up in about 5 minutes, compared to his color ones.

The colored posters have much more eye appeal and that's why they sell at a premium over the black and white posters. I don't see too many people watching their TV's in black and white mode when they can watch it in color.......

Personally, I would only pay between $700 to $1500 for most of those black and white Anton posters.

Well mate if you got it for less then you got a good deal. I think Weitze's price of 900 euros was reasonable and certainly better than Oakleaf's $4000 How he had the hide to ask that much is beyond me - oh yeah he's a dealer.

It looks original to me unless you can see anything out of place?

Anyway, I much prefer the much rarer French SS Panzer poster Weitze had.

Obviously you have not spent enough ......how sad for you......

I asked about that service and they said they don't do it. Something about different employees listing different items and one employee often doesn't know what others are listing. But I thought they each had their own specialized areas??

Spot on there,

I remember contacting them regarding the Walloon Poster and they said they couldnt find it, and that it may have been recently sold at a show and yet not removed from the site...

After a day they found it...

Alexej Orban is usually pretty quick to respond, at least he was regarding the SS Wrap

Next year I will hopefully head back to Hamburg and drop in in person.
