Definitely lacks the detail that I have seen of the original poster.

A postcard version perhaps as there were many posters that also came as a postcard and in some cases the artwork quality was inferior as a result of being reproduced at such a small scale.

        Two new arrivals...

First one is not SS although a wonderful poster nonetheless. The artist, Giulio Bertoletti, shares his initials with the other great Italian artist of the era Gino Boccasile.

The second is a nice banner for recruitment into the SS Legion.

              Cheers gents...

I know there was a period image of the Giulio Bertoletti that I think Tony posted in this thread a while back although I think the image is not detached.

It was of a much larger billboard version used as a backdrop to a parade or speech during the war and I cannot seem to locate the image in my files. Does anyone else have that image...?

Someone paid a lot for this one given the condition...

I purchased mine and saw another sell recently (both mint condition) for half the price...

Speaking of posters that required some TLC....

Two rare gems that I had restored and linen backed this year...

Now those are some rare pieces. Deserved to be preserved for future generations. Do you have any before pictures?
